The Ghost's return is expected to be a victorious one, but a man they call "Mini-Tyson" stands as an immediate impediment.
Selcuk Aydin is a major power-puncher, but his resume lacks a major name. That will end on Saturday, July 28, when he faces Robert Guerrero for the interim WBC welterweight title.
Aydin is 23-0 with 17 KOs, and this fight will be huge for him.
Guerrero was once thought to be one of the top fighters, pound-for-pound, in the world. But he has endured a 15-month layoff from the sport because of injuries and his unsuccessful pursuit of Floyd Mayweather, Jr., per Jake Donovan of Boxing Scene.
Guerrero has also had to put his career on hold to be there for his wife during her battle with cancer.
Thankfully, his wife has made a full recovery, per Kevin Iole Yahoo Sports.
Guerrero is 29-1 with 18 KOs, and his lone loss came seven years ago. He has called out the likes of Mayweather and Pacquiao (per Boxing News 24), as he's eager to step in the ring with the sports' elite.
He'll have to deal with Aydin before he can chase bigger fish. Though Guerrero is more skilled, this fight will be his first at welterweight.

Katsidis should have been credited with a knockdown against Guerrero in their fight. But the referee missed the Ghost's glove touching the canvas after an exchange.
